Drug Testing Solutions for DOT and non-DOT Regulated Companies

For DOT regulated companies, we provide 5-panel urine drug testing that screens for the presence of the following drugs:

  • Amphetamines
  • Cocaine
  • Marijuana (THC)
  • Opioids
  • Phencyclidine (PCP)

For non-DOT regulated companies, there are numerous options available, including:

  • Urine, saliva and hair drug testing
  • Custom drug testing panels (from 4-panel to 12-panel)
  • Alcohol testing, including ETG (for social services)

Pre-Employment Drug Testing

Alliance 2020 assists companies in protecting their organizations against drug abuse. Pre-employment drug screening helps prevent the hiring of individuals who abuse drugs and is essential in the onboarding process.

Substance abuse takes a heavy toll on American businesses. According to the U.S. Department of Labor, workplace drug use costs employers $81 billion annually. Left unchecked, drug abuse can seriously compromise the integrity and stability of your workplace.

Every business and industry is unique and every employer should carefully determine how they should screen new hires. Alliance 2020 is here to help you achieve a drug free workplace.

Random Drug Testing

Random drug testing is a proven way to deter employee drug abuse. Whether you are required by the DOT to have a federally compliant drug testing program, or simply desire a drug free workplace, Alliance 2020 can help. For over 15 years, we have managed effective drug screening programs.

We have numerous options available when it comes to random drug testing. Our panel options range from 4-12 and both instant (POCT) and lab-based testing is available. We also offer the convenience of mobile drug testing services for groups.

Send us a list of your employees who are subject to testing. If you are DOT regulated, let us know what operating agency you fall under and we’ll handle the rest. If you are not federally mandated, let us know how many employees you want tested, and how often you want testing to take place. We use our random selection technology to eliminate bias and provide accurate random selections.

Why Alliance 2020

100% Electronic Process

Our online system allows secure paperless ordering, retrieval, and tracking of tests. We increase efficiency while saving time, money, and reducing headaches.

Rapid Turnarounds
Negative results are typically turned around in 24 to 48 hours. Positive and non-negative results may require additional time to accommodate investigation by the MRO.
Medical Review Services
Medical Review Officer (MRO) services are standard for Alliance 2020’s substance abuse testing. This protects employers from legal liability resulting from false positives and gives applicants the confidence that your testing program is fair and meets accepted standards.
Certified Training
Alliance 2020 can provide certified training in your office for both regulated (DOT) and non-regulated programs. These services include training for supervisors, employees, and Designated Employer Representatives (DER).

Testing & Results

Evidential Breath Alcohol Testing (EBT)

Our certified Breath Alcohol Technicians (BATs) use conforming instruments to perform testing to DOT standards with evidential certainty. Test results are defensible in court, and detect the presence of alcohol in any amount. Our BATs can be dispatched to your location to perform random or reasonable suspicion testing, or subjects can be transported to our office.

Types of Testing

Alliance 2020 offers employers and individuals the following collection methods:

  • Urine Testing (most commonly used testing method)
  • Hair Testing (method with the longest detection window)
  • Saliva Testing (most convenient, least obtrusive method)
Laboratory Analysis
Alliance 2020’s certified laboratory partners provide trusted drug analysis in controlled conditions overseen by certifying scientists. Samples are analyzed for validity, adulteration/dilution, and undergo immunoassay screening and confirmation by Gas Chromatograph/Mass Spectrometry.
Understanding Lab Testing
Laboratory drug testing provides employers with confidence that the results provided are dependable and defensible, even if challenged in a court of law.

Employment-related laboratory testing ensures that collection devices, collection and sample transportation protocols, laboratory procedures, sample validation techniques and analyses are consistent with those established by Health and Human Services (HHS) and the Department of Transportation (DOT).

Backed up with independent Medical Review Officer (MRO) services performed on behalf of the employer, laboratory drug testing provides results that can be trusted by donors and employers alike, and are an essential part of a quality drug-free workplace program.
