Kathy L. Faulkes
Founder | President
Kathy Faulkes, the visionary founder of Alliance 2020, built the company on a foundation of cutting-edge technology and outstanding customer service. Her commitment to this vision has driven the company’s ongoing success and growth. Despite being semi-retired, Kathy, alongside Brad, continues to steer Alliance 2020, ensuring it remains a leader in the background screening industry.
Kathy exemplifies hard work, dedication, and a commitment to excellence. She has a deep passion for animals, especially her beloved dog and bird. Kathy also takes immense pride in her beautiful home and cherishes the time spent with Brad and with their grandchildren.
Bradley J. Faulkes
Co-Founder | CEO
Brad Faulkes is the CEO of Alliance 2020, bringing over 35 years of expertise in the background screening industry. As an entrepreneurial leader, Brad has successfully expanded Alliance 2020 across multiple sectors. He plays a crucial role in the sales and marketing divisions, providing valuable insights and guidance to the team. Together with his wife Kathy, Brad ensures that Alliance 2020 stays at the cutting edge of technology, develops innovative products, and maintains its reputation of providing exceptional customer service.
Brad along with Kathy are founding members of the National Consumer Reporting Association (NCRA). With a degree in accounting from Western Washington University, Brad spent a decade as an auditor for the State of Washington before founding Alliance 2020. He and Kathy raised their two children in the heart of Renton. In his free time, he enjoys bike riding, spending time on Lake Washington, and cherishing moments with Kathy, their children, and grandchildren.
Debbie Loyning
Chief OperatING Officer
Debbie Loyning serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Alliance 2020 and has been involved in the background screening industry since 1990. Her career began with TransUnion, at an affiliate credit bureau in Helena, MT. In 1995, Debbie and her family relocated to Washington State, where she worked for Factual Data in the mortgage credit reporting sector. She joined Alliance 2020 in 1999 as the Operations Manager, and over the past 25 years, she has become a dynamic leader, highly respected in the industry.
Debbie has a wealth of experience in the credit industry and over two decades in employment and tenant screening. Her exceptional management skills have been crucial to the company’s growth, attributed to her deep knowledge of products and services and her ability to recruit and retain top talent. Debbie works closely with the CEO and President, overseeing all aspects of the company.
An active member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA), Debbie also serves on the Board of Directors for the National Consumer Reporting Association (NCRA). She volunteers on multiple committees for both PBSA and NCRA, and her role as Past President of NCRA underscores her commitment and reputation in the background screening industry. She is currently a director of NCRA and plays an integral role working with regulatory entities within the background screening industry.
In her spare time, Debbie enjoys being with her friends, family, and dogs. She is actively involved in her community, volunteering her time to build relationships and support local initiatives.
Gavin Bray
Business Development Executive
Gavin Bray is a Business Development Executive at Alliance 2020, with over a decade of experience in his role. He thrives on engaging with clients daily, assisting them in implementing or revamping their pre-employment background screening programs. Gavin has extensive experience in all aspects of account management and customer service and is highly regarded for his expertise.
Since 2013, Gavin has been an active member of the Lake Washington Human Resource Association (LWHRA) and currently serves on the LWHRA Executive Board as a Director at Large, where he also chairs the Partnerships Committee. His deep knowledge of best practices and innovative solutions allows him to help clients develop, deploy, and manage successful screening programs.
Gavin’s high level of compassion and empathy is a driving force in all his business relationships, ensuring that clients receive tailored and effective solutions. He enjoys golfing and spending time with his wife, Laureen and their two pugs.
Dylan Henderson
Business Development Manager
Dylan Henderson brings over five years of expertise in the background screening industry and supporting clients with their employment screening programs. As the Business Development Manager, Dylan collaborates closely with the Business Development Executive to cater to Alliance 2020’s broad client base.
Dylan’s role is multifaceted, encompassing a variety of marketing responsibilities. He plays a key role in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing digital marketing campaigns, and overseeing content creation to enhance brand visibility and engagement.
Dylan’s commitment to client success and his proactive approach to business development make him an asset to the Alliance 2020 team. He is a fluent German speaker and in his spare time enjoys reading and learning languages.
Judy DeBellis
Account Executive
Judy has been a member of the Alliance 2020 team for over twenty years and brings over forty years of experience in the background screening industry. Since starting out in 1978 selling Commercial Credit Reports at Dun & Bradstreet, Judy has been responsible for over $100 million in sales over the course of her career. During this time, she has worked with all aspects of the background screening industry and is our resident industry expert.
Gio Guerra
IT Director
Gio has been with Alliance 2020 since 2017 and has made huge contributions towards our success. In addition to keeping our systems safe and technology up to date, Gio is also responsible for product development, integrations, and developing our cutting-edge background screening applications. With a passion for helping others, Gio excels at supporting both coworkers and clients with his diverse skill set and positive attitude.
Gio is a talented writer and manages all the company RFP processes. Beyond his technical expertise, he plays a key role in managing our PBSA accreditation efforts, ensuring we meet high standards of quality and compliance. Gio actively participates in several NCRA committees as well as PBSA webinars to stay informed about industry best practices and standards. While Gio is not at work, he and his wife are busy raising twin girls.
Joan Archie
Compliance Officer
Joan is responsible for the daily compliance duties at Alliance 2020, including customer/client vetting, compliance audits, and customer disputes. Joan is an active member of the Professional Background Screening Association (PBSA) and has various Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) certifications.
Kim Shaw
Research Analyst Department Supervisor
Kim Shaw brings over 17 years of extensive experience in the background screening industry to her role as the Research Analyst Department Supervisor. She is responsible for the daily supervision of a dedicated team of eight research analysts, ensuring the highest standards of quality and accuracy. She has a customer-first attitude and is FCRA certified.
Kim’s role also encompasses product management and development, where she leverages her deep industry knowledge to innovate and enhance our services. She stays ahead of the curve by diligently keeping up with the latest court regulations, ensuring compliance and up-to-date practices. Additionally, Kim maintains strong relationships with vendors, fostering collaboration and efficiency.
Beyond her professional achievements, Kim enjoys spending time on the beach and with her husband, their children, and grandchildren.
